Overview
- This position will focus on keeping the Market Research & Product Development database up-to-date with usage, pricing, competition, nha and eligibility information. Extensive research will be required on existing Wencor products, data entry, internet, and CMM manual and Illustrated Parts Catalog.
Responsibilities
- Determine market potential and sales opportunities for individual aerospace parts by analyzing usage data, aircraft fleet data and trends, airline and overhaul shop maintenance capabilities and procedures, failure mode analysis, competition, current pricing strategies, and aircraft/engine/component technical publications.
- Update the Microsoft Access Product Development Database as new customers, applications, usage, pricing, or other data becomes available.
- Update usage, pricing, competition, and other Microsoft Access tables used for conducting product research and market analysis.
- Prepare financial analysis packages on potential new PMA development projects for Product Research Supervisor.
- Develop research processes to quickly and efficiently analyze opportunities and determine market value within the commercial, business, and general aerospace aftermarket industry.

Qualifications

Overview
Provides primary support for quoting hose products to commercial and government customers.
Essential Duties
- Identifies hose assemblies and quotes price and delivery time directly to customers and through sales reps.

- Create internal purchase orders for hose components.
