| Kitco Changes Name to Kitco Defense™ |

| ______SPRINGVILLE, Utah - April 6, 2006 - Kitco Inc., announced today that the firm will now do business under the name of Kitco Defense™. "Our focus is the defense market," said Rich Ballantyne, president of Kitco Defense. "We want our customers to immediately recognize they're the reason we exist." The new tag line covers our breadth of capability: Engineered Parts - Distribution - Services. "We do more than build kits," continued Ballantyne. | ______For example, Kitco recently delivered the first article Nozzle Fairing Rework Kit for the F-15 Eagle. This is a five-year contract worth over 20 million dollars. Kitco Defense engineers translated aerodynamic loft data into usable manufacturing specifications. The First Article kit has been installed and is currently undergoing flight testing. | |
