Engineering Department
Kitco
operates an Engineering Department staffed by several mechanical
engineers and a CAD specialist. Wencor's engineers have a wealth
of combined experience in aircraft line maintenance, pump design,
aircraft systems design and three-dimensional computer-aided design.
Kitco also employs the services of a contract metallurgist, who
assists Kitco in the proper determination and utilization of materials.
Our engineering department is supported by a substantial library
of microfilm IPC/IPL, service bulletins, specifications and overhaul
data, as well as an extensive Government Technical Order library.
SAR/PMA Development
Kitco
works in conjunction with it's sister company,Wencor. Our engineering
staff utilizes the latest technology to develop engineering data,
designs and test procedures to establish the airworthiness of
Kitco's SARs. Our unique capabilities are possible through our
staff's accumulated knowledge and experience and our expansive
collection of technical drawings and manuals.
Manufacturing
Critical
tolerance to 0.0001, 8 RMS microfinishing, and flatness measured
in helium light bands are standard for many of the parts our in-house
machine shop manufactures on the latest CNC equipment. For more
